About this worksheet
Teen Number Bonds: Ten and Some More! applies the part-part-whole bond model to teen numbers, the focus of Common Core K.NBT.1. A worked example opens the sheet: 14 is the whole, the parts are 10 and 4, and 10 + 4 = 14. Students then complete bonds in both directions. Part 1 gives the wholes 13, 15, 17, and 12 and asks for the missing part; Part 2 gives 10 paired with 6, 1, 8, and 9 and asks for the whole. A final Show Your Thinking task turns the clue "10 dots and 5 more" into a complete bond, equation, and drawing.
