About this worksheet
The starter story is only "I see a house.", and kindergarten students make it richer. They answer three planning questions (who lives in the house, what color it is, what is outside), with a word box of choices like big, red, dog, and sun. Then they draw the new house and write the new story. A three-item success check ends the page, with boxes such as "I stretched out my words to spell them." It practices Common Core W.K.5. No answer key is printed, since every story will differ.
