About this worksheet
Two matching tasks and a sentence make up this 5-page 1st grade adjectives sheet. First, students draw lines from fluffy, tall, cold, round and bright to pictures of a kitten, a giraffe, an ice cream cone, a ball and the sun. Then they write letters to pair sticky, loud, sharp, heavy and sweet with pancake syrup, a beating drum, a pointy pencil, a gray rock and a candy bar. The last task is one sentence that uses a pair. It fits Common Core L.1.1f and L.1.5b, and the answer key lists every match.
