Adjectives for Year 2 as a writing task, over three pages. Page 1 has a word bank in four groups, Colour, Size, Feel and Sound. Pupils choose two adjectives for each of six pictures: a hedgehog, a sun, a castle, an ice cream, a lion and a rainbow. Page 2 asks them to pick two pictures and write a sentence for each using both adjectives. The model sentence is The spiky, little hedgehog curled up. The key lists sample adjectives for all six pictures. It follows England National Curriculum grammar.
