Colors and Numbers Word Hunt hides eight kindergarten words in a 10 by 10 letter grid: red, blue, green, yellow, one, two, three, and four. Words run only across or down, never backward or on a diagonal. The word list prints in capitals below the grid, matching the grid letters. It connects to Common Core L.K.6, since students hear and use these words every day. The answer key gives the starting row, column, and direction for each word.
