About this worksheet
This 2nd grade geometry homework covers two Common Core standards in three parts. Shape attributes come first: sides and angles counted for a triangle, a trapezoid, a pentagon and a hexagon, plus two questions on a cube's 6 square faces. The middle section shows six partitioned shapes, and students decide equal or unequal before naming halves, thirds or fourths; two shapes are cut unequally on purpose, and one rectangle is halved along its diagonal into triangles. Partitioning practice closes it, asking for two different ways to cut identical rectangles into fourths and a fill-in sentence using fourth and fourths.
