About this worksheet
Un- words start this 1st grade word parts sheet. Students draw lines from four un- words, such as untie, unhappy and unload, to pictures like loose laces, a sad face and an open padlock. A second match pairs reread, colorful, spotless, redo, hopeful and fearless with meanings like "without fear", and the first one is done. Students finish by writing a sentence with one of the words. The 4 pages practice Common Core L.1.4b, and the answer key gives every match plus sample sentences.
