About this worksheet

A one-page prepositions check for Year 3, with the answer key on page 2. Pupils circle the preposition in four sentences, then fill three gaps with before, during or until from a word bank. They finish a sentence about a dragon with their own prepositional phrase and tick the preposition from quickly, beneath and happy. The key accepts any correct phrase for the dragon sentence. It follows England National Curriculum grammar for Year 3.
