Find the Preposition

Year 3 EnglishPrepositions3 pages

About this worksheet

Prepositions for Year 3, over three pages. Pupils read ten sentences, from The ball rolled under the car to We played in the garden until bedtime, and write the preposition in a box beside each. On page 2 they sort the ten words into a Place column and a Time column. Place words include under, behind and across, and time words are after, during, before and until. The key lists the ten words and the sorted table. It follows England National Curriculum grammar for Years 3 and 4.
