A storyboard for a trip into space, set over two pages for Year 1. Pupils first answer three planning questions: who the brave character is, what they find, and how it ends. Then they draw six panels in order, from The Start and Blasting Off to Time to Go and The End. Each panel has a caption line for one simple sentence. Ordering ideas matters more than neat drawing here, and every story will differ. It fits England National Curriculum writing composition.
