Our Weather Journal is a three-page guided-notes sheet for a kindergarten weather lesson under NGSS K-ESS2-1. Students fill blanks as the class talks: a bright blue sky means sunny, water drops from the clouds mean rainy, and a thermometer tells how hot or cold it is. The last section brings in the words chart and pattern, and students count pictures to find which weather came most often. Two open prompts ask for drawings. The answer key gives each missing word.

Finding Weather Patterns, where checking the weather every day makes a chart and weather that happens a lot is called a pattern, plus the window observation in Looking at the Sky.
Four fill-in lines for sunny, cloudy, rainy, and windy, each with a clue such as "When the leaves blow around". Students then draw or write what the sky looks like outside the classroom window right now.
