Nature Walk Word Hunt is a two-page kindergarten word search with eight words: ROCK, SOIL, SAND, LAND, POND, WATER, TREE, and HOME. Words run across or down only, shown by arrows in the instructions. The answer key gives the row, starting column, and direction of each word, such as WATER in row 6 across. The list names needs and places of living things, so the sheet sits beside NGSS K-LS1-1 and K-ESS3-1 as word practice.
