Roman Britain Timeline Ordering

Year 4 HistoryRoman Britain4 pages

About this worksheet

A four-page Year 4 timeline task on Roman Britain, with the answers at the end. Six event cards each have a picture, a date and a short summary. They run from Caesar's landing in Kent in 55 BC to Honorius calling the soldiers home in AD 410. Pupils write the card letter and title next to each date in a table. Two more questions ask what BC means and how long Roman rule lasted, with about 367 years as the answer. It is aligned to the England National Curriculum for history.
