Short fact texts about British wildlife make up this four-page Year 1 comprehension. Pupils read about hedgehogs that hunt at night, a robin with a bright red breast, and red foxes that live in earths. There are ten questions: written answers about the hedgehog, find-and-copy words for the robin, and true or false for the fox, including one about the picture caption. Every answer is in the key. It follows the England National Curriculum comprehension strand.
