Before subtraction fluency work
Teach the matching parts first, then use Part 3 as the check. A student who writes only the two addition facts has not yet linked the operations.

Copy Part 2 onto card, cut the family boxes and fact groups apart, and the matching becomes a reusable sorting station.
Homework follow-up
Send it home after introducing a fact-triangle routine. Parents can see from the little house on the sheet what a fact family means.
