Four short spelling tasks fill this three-page Year 5 sheet. Pupils name silent letters, choose between homophones, build words with prefixes and suffixes, and use the third or fourth letter to put words in dictionary order. The words follow England National Curriculum Year 5 spelling rules, with knight and solemn taken from the statutory examples. Answers are given for the homophone and prefix tasks.
