Sequences like 12, 18, 24 going forwards in 6s and 9,000, 8,000, 7,000 going backwards in 1,000s.
Gaps mid-sequence, such as 25, 50, __, 100 and counting back in 7s.
Pupils state the rule for 250, 275, 300 and find the error hiding in 18, 27, 36, 44, 54.
