About this worksheet

A Year 3 history sort over three pages. The museum curator has dropped a tray of twelve history cards, and pupils write each one under Stone Age Only, Both Periods or Iron Age Only. The cards range from Hunting mammoths and Skara Brae village to Minting coins and Iron plough tips. Four go in each column, with Farming crops, Keeping livestock, Making pottery and Cooking over fire shared by both. Two Historical Reasoning questions follow. The answer key fills the chart and gives example new items such as microliths and rotary quern stones. It follows the England National Curriculum.
