A two-page Year 3 crossword on the suffixes -ation, -ous and -ly. Each of the six clues gives a meaning, the root word, the suffix and the number of letters. Four clues also state the spelling rule, such as changing 'y' to 'i' for various or dropping the 'e' for famous. The answers are information, sadly, various, gently, famous and simply.
