About this worksheet
In this three-page Year 3 spelling sheet, the prefixes re-, mis-, dis- and in- are jumbled on the floor of a Word Factory whose sorting machine has broken down. Pupils sort fifteen words, such as reappear, misspell, disobey and invisible, into three boxes by what the prefix means. Two questions then ask which word was trickiest and for a new word in each group. The answer key gives the full sort and example words like mismatch and inactive. It covers the England National Curriculum objective on prefixes and suffixes.
