About this worksheet
A Year 2 science sorting sheet on seeds and bulbs, written for the England National Curriculum. The wind has blown Farmer Jack's seed packets and bulb sacks off the shelf, and pupils sort the muddle. The word bank holds twelve plants, including sunflower, daffodil, broad bean, onion and bluebell. Pupils write each one under Grows from a Seed or Grows from a Bulb. Two questions then ask which plant was trickiest and for one new plant in each column. The answer key gives six of each, and notes that onion and garlic catch pupils out.
