About this worksheet

Four pages on writing instructions for Year 2 English. A short introduction explains time words like First and Next, and bossy verbs such as cut, put and wash. Pupils finish sentence starters for making a jam sandwich and for washing their hands. Then they plan instructions for a routine of their own, such as brushing their teeth or putting a plaster on a cut. The answer key gives model endings for all ten starters.
