Pupils become the director of a new animated film in this two-page planning sheet for Year 2 English. Three planning questions ask for a main character and setting, a problem in the middle and a fix at the end. After that comes a six-panel storyboard, running from The Beginning and Leaving Home through The Problem and Trying to Fix It to The Solution and The Ending. Each panel needs a quick sketch and one clear caption sentence. Written for the England National Curriculum writing composition objectives.
