About this worksheet

How teachers use it

Sequencing lesson

Model Panel 2 before students start. Many second graders do not know flour comes from wheat, and a quick photo of a mill saves a lot of blank panels.

Art block

Remind students that stick figures are fine, as the directions say. Spend the time on captions instead, since naming who does the work is the part most drawings skip.

Partner share

Pairs present their storyboards as if pitching the show to a TV boss. Listeners check that each caption names a worker, such as the farmer, the baker, or the truck driver.
