About this worksheet

Seven are animal group words: amphibian, bird, fish, insect, mammal, reptile and vertebrate. The other five are classify, identify, habitat, predator and environment, which pupils need when they use keys. Mammal is the only word that runs diagonally. The answer key gives the start, end and direction of every word. The sheet runs to three pages and links to the England National Curriculum.
