A six-page data project pupils run themselves, written for Year 3 maths. After a warm-up reading a bird-spotting table, pupils choose a survey topic, collect tallies, draw a pictogram with a key and a scaled bar chart, then answer questions about their own data, including writing their own how many more question. The answer key covers the warm-up and gives marking criteria for the rest. Aligned to both England National Curriculum statistics objectives.
