Ancient Egypt Achievements Mind Map

About this worksheet

Six branches make up this Year 3 history mind map on the achievements of Ancient Egypt, over two pages. Five branches each come with three guiding questions, on pyramids and temples, picture-writing and paper, farming on the Nile, medicine and maths, and gold and art. Pupils write facts, examples and vocabulary on the lines under each one. The sixth branch is blank for pupils to name, with ideas such as the 365-day calendar or the board game Senet. There is no answer key. It supports the England National Curriculum depth study of an early civilization.

Early finishers

Let pupils who finish early pick Senet for their own branch and find out how the game was played.
