Wings, fins, and teeth are the three words students need for this 1st grade science page on the outside parts animals use to live. They label pictures from that word bank, then answer two questions about how a bird flies in the sky and how a frog jumps onto a lily pad. The last page asks for a drawing of a favorite animal, labeled with its head, eyes, and legs. It sets up NGSS 1-LS1-1, where students later copy these parts to solve human problems.
