Data Processing Agreement

Where Chalkie processes personal data for a school, trust, district, or other educational organisation, including when teachers use Live Activities, this Data Processing Agreement forms part of the Terms. Accepting the Terms accepts this agreement for that organisation.

Customers in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area use the UK and EU agreement. Customers in the United States use the US agreement. Other customers, including schools in Australia, use the UK and EU agreement unless a separate agreement says otherwise. A separately signed agreement, including a National Data Privacy Agreement, an Exhibit E, or a UK addendum, prevails where they conflict.

The agreement text is in English, which is the language of the contract.

There is no automatic deletion period for Live Activities records. The teacher can delete a session's results in the app, and schools can ask for return or deletion at hello@chalkie.ai. Ending a session does not delete those records. Deleted records can remain in encrypted backups for about 90 days.
