I cannot recommend Chalkie enough. I need to be able to switch between books, plays, poems, exam boards and year groups quickly, and Chalkie makes that so easy. It genuinely works hard for me behind the scenes. I also love how adaptable the activity sheets are.
I gave my Year 10 students a Chalkie PowerPoint and a PowerPoint made by a member of staff on the same poem and asked them which they preferred. They unanimously said Chalkie because it is able to teach them complexity terms and analysis but do it in a way they can understand.
