About this worksheet
This Year 3 writing sheet spends three pages on building a paragraph around one idea. It opens with a model paragraph about the rainforest canopy, labelled Point, Evidence, Explain and Link. Pupils then finish four sentence starters on why rainforest trees matter. The last task asks for a full paragraph on why the rainforest is a good habitat for animals, with no starters. Example answers cover both tasks. It follows the England National Curriculum objective on organising paragraphs around a theme.
