HASS in Foundation starts with each child's own world: who they are, the people and places that matter to them, and how daily life has changed within living memory. These Foundation HASS lessons cover my personal world, places we live, and past and present, each built as a slide deck you can present straight to the class.
All three lessons align to the Australian Curriculum v9.0 Humanities and Social Sciences, reflecting the personal history and familiar-places focus of the Foundation year. Objectives are listed with each deck, and the slides lean on contexts students already know, families, homes, classrooms and local places, so discussion flows easily.
